My Journey
I found coaching like I find all my ventures—by accidentally fulfilling a need.
In 2020 I was battling anxiety and was newly diagnosed with depression and PTSD. I didn’t know what depression and PTSD looked like, but I learned to live with them. I learned to recognize my triggers, when to ask saboteurs to take a seat, and when to show gratitude to my emotional allies.
It was in peeling back the layers of my own trauma that I came to the realization that my self-doubt and imposter syndrome were holding me back from success in my education, business, and relationships. It took more than a year of therapy, support from my family and friends, and encouragement from my community to get back to the woman I know.
Do I still get triggered? Yes.
Do I still have moments of anxiety? Yes.
Do I let anxiety, fear, or imposter syndrome stop me from being a whole person with skills and scars? Nope.
Do I want to help other women become just as self-aware and fully competent in peeling back the layers in order to get unstuck?
You bet your beautiful, badass self.
